A Night to Remember: Cedar Refuge Launch Party Recap
What an incredible night!
Our Cedar Refuge Launch Party was filled with meaningful connection, powerful vision, generous hearts, and a community that showed up in a big way.
We gathered to share our mission - to provide safe refuge for the healing and restoration of children who have been sexually exploited in America - and to cast vision for what’s ahead. From the Family Program for younger children, to the Boys Program, to the long-term healing ranch and regenerative farm, we were able to share what we believe will become a place of deep restoration and hope.
The evening was made even more special by the incredible generosity and talent of so many:
From the beautiful music thanks to Eric Allen of BlackBox Sound Co. and their gifted musicians - Gabby Ellis and siblings Arielle and Mason; Sam Creswell; WYY.; Megan Swauger; Kiley Williford; The Pierson Brothers; and Roger Jaeger - to our dedicated event leadership and volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes.
We are especially grateful for:
Theresa Paugh for outstanding event coordination
Trey Ellis of Five Talents for serving as our MC
Emily Johnson for food leadership and volunteer coordination
Lance and Shalisha for giving their time and skills
Chick-fil-A for donating half of the meal
Our silent auction and raffle donors: Jack Trout Fly Fishing, Hideaway Haven, and Yaks on the 5
And every volunteer who helped the night run smoothly
And yes - even with a “doors open” timing hiccup (thank you to those who braved the cold!), the joy and support in the room never wavered.
This launch wasn’t just an event.
It was the beginning of something bigger.
We are deeply grateful to every sponsor, donor, volunteer, and attendee who helped make the evening such a success. Because of you, this vision is moving forward!
We can’t wait to share what’s next.
